The Chair of the Muckamore Abbey Hospital Inquiry has announced that the Inquiry will take place in Belfast City Centre.
Two floors of Corn Exchange at 31 Gordon Street, Belfast, will form the central location for the Inquiry which are currently being prepared for hearings expected to commence in Spring 2022.
Chair of the Muckamore Abbey Hospital Inquiry Tom Kark QC commented:
“I am pleased to announce that we have now secured the Inquiry building in the Cathedral Quarter of Belfast”
“Not only will it provide us with an excellent hearing room and several offices for the work that is needed to be done by the inquiry staff, the building also provides good disabled access and parking nearby.”
“Work is ongoing to set up the technological facilities to allow for the ability to stream hearings and receive video evidence.”
